An active ingredient derived naturally from vegetables, Physalis Angula is a Brazilian species commonly used in skincare products. Owing to its immunomodulating and anti-photoageing properties, it is considered to be highly efficacious as a corticoid. It also potentially increases serine proteases that lead to the maintenance and repair of skin collagen. Being an active ingredient, it also decreases intradermal microinflammation, protects from infrared rays and visible light, and regulates the intradermal temperature while increasing collage I, pro-collagen, and GAGs. Physalis Angulata Extract also counters redness, itchiness and inflammation of the skin making it healthy and shiny.
